St Mary's Bells

St Mary’s has a good set of 8 bells, forming a musical octave.  The bells were installed in 1876 and were cast by John Taylor & Co., of Loughborough, Leics., replacing an earlier set of six bells.  They sound beautiful outside the tower.  The tenor (heaviest) bell weighs 16 cwt.

Practice is alternated between All Saints church and St Mary's Church - if you turn up to one and it's not on there, then go to the church  other end of the High Street and it will be there.
